Q
& A
How
bright is the GigLight?
GigLight
is about four times as bright as the typical small clip-on book or
music light
How
much area does it light up?
GigLight
produces a wide beam of light. Clipped on a music stand, it illuminates two pages of music
well. Standing on a desk, table or podium it lights up an area
greater than 20"e; wide by 12"e; deep from a height of about
7 inches.
How
long will it operate on a set of four AA batteries?
GigLight
provides about 8-10 hours of good light on a set of alkaline
batteries and 4-5 hours on rechargeable batteries. (The light runs
much longer but grows progressively dimmer.)
How
long will the bulb last?
GigLight
has no bulb that can burn out. The illumination source is a
technologically advanced Light Emitting Diode (LED) that will last
for years. (Rated life of 50,000
hours)
How
does it attach to the stand?
GigLight
has a large, plastic spring clip that opens up 3/4"e; wide, like an over-sized clothespin with rubber padding on the
gripping surfaces. The clip easily attaches to a
music rest -- or any number of other surfaces -- making it a
handy, useful task light.
How
much does it weigh?
About
10 ounces with a set of batteries.
