produce four times more light than a standard GigLight. Yet, it lasts

How
bright is the new Super GigLight?
Up
until the summer of 2008, our premium music light has been the
ConcertLight -- a light that produces almost three times more light
than the GigLight.
With
the development of the Super GigLight, however, we've decided to
retire the ConcertLight. Great light that it is, the new Super
GigLight produces 50% more light. (In the world of battery lighting,
that's a particularly remarkable accomplishment since the Super
GigLight only consumes 1/3 the power of the ConcertLight.)
As shown in the chart at the right, the Super
GigLight, produces half again as much light as a ConcertLight, and over four
times more light than a regular GigLight.

All light is not the same
If you love to play music, then our daylight color temperature lights will enhance your
sight reading. Lampcraft's special high-contrast / low-glare lights are especially designed to combat eye strain and increase visual
comfort. Typical incandescent lamps produce warm or yellowish light that is much different than natural daylight. Research shows that only the cones in the human eye (not the rods) are sensitive to this low color temperature light.
In comparison, full-spectrum (or daylight color temperature) light activates the eye's rods and cones, creating more effective illumination. This low-glare / high-contrast light source lets you see text and objects more clearly.
The effect? Better illumination that is easier on the eyes.
